Hi Folks, We have a batch of Banshees in the final stages of building. Doug K Has allowed us to be the exclusive U.S rep of his Banshees and We love them around here. Doug has been building a large batch but they are going fast. As some of you may know, I sold our floor model to Walter Becker because there wasn't enough time to get one built for him before the tour started. He is playing his nightly with Steely Dan. Right after that Doug started this bunch and here are some pics. Some are sold already but they can always be ordered through us.

Here are some pics of the latest Banshee to leave Doug Kauer's shop. Its already been received by its new owner and He is loving it!!!!!! He already has one Banshee and has another that will be finishing up in the next few weeks.
There is only one more from this batch that will be for sale, I need to keep one for a floor model and the other is a special edition that Doug and I dreamed up that will take a few more steps than a normal one but I will post its progress as it is finishing up.
Since We are running out it seems like a perfect time to start discussing the next batch. Doug is ready to go, I am ordering a few for inventory and there are a few spots available if anyone wants in!! Any questions feel free to call or email.

Bump for a very cool dealer of very cool guitars. I was actually lucky enough to play the very guitar that Walter Becker ended up with and as is to be expected, Doug really hit quite a home run! Glad to hear about the success gentlemen.

Doug Kauer is just finishing up the last Banshees from the last batch, these are all just about done and should be shipping out soon. Due to their popularity we are going to start another batch very soon. There are a few slots left so anyone interested get in touch.
There is another one from this batch that is not pictured that is a special edition Banshee that Doug And I dreamed up that we are really psyched about. We are going to keep it a surprise until its done.

Here is a pic of the latest Banshee Doug K is shipping out. Very cool sea foam green with a humbucker. There are a few more that have color and are awaiting buffing and assembly. This bottom one is a new color for banshees, "april Gold", an old car color. This one will get full sized humbuckers. This one is available for sale. We had Doug build a few extras to get out ahead of demand. Some very cool colors and pickup combinations. Also, Doug is considering a run of Lefty Banshees. There are so few Firebird type guitars available for leftys so We are considering building a few. Anyone interested get in touch.

Does a bear shit in the woods? :rotflmao Its the very last Banshee that came from the same board as both of Walter Becker's Banshee's. It was built for another artist that we couldn't come to terms with. Upside is, I got to pick my favorite color for it.

We have some new Banshees, and we did finally make a Banshee video, it is being edited and should be up soon. WE just got a gold one with P-90s, a really cool one in Iris mist with full size humbuckers and the"Old Black" Banshee is now done, It was inspired by Neil Young's les Paul. Here are some pics. The black one was shot in nitro and aged by Josh at Protocaster guitars. He did an amazing job!!!!!

Hey folks, finally had a Banshee is the shop long enough to do a video. There are two in this one, a p-90 one and one with full humbuckers. We did a full humbucker one because not everyone likes firebird pickups and some just prefer regular ones. That one really sounds great. I am a real sucker for p-90s so the gold Banshee is a favorite of mine but I like them all!!! Hope this gives everyone an idea of how great Doug K's Banshees sound.

We had Josh at Protocaster Guitars age this Banshee a bit more. Now you can see there is a gold finish under the black and its starting to come through. This one sounds amazing and Doug and Josh really put a lot of time and effort into it. We have a bunch of aged Banshee projects in the works, a batch just finishing up, and another just about to begin.

As some of you may have seen, there is a bunch of Kauer Banshee activity lately. Some fun new colors and pickup combos. We just put in an order for a bunch of really cool ones for the shop and a whole bunch of custom orders for customers. Here are a few that are just finishing up and will be for sale soon unless they get sold before they can be shipped finished and shipped here.
There is a matching pair of red in lefty and righty!!! There is one in a new color for Banshees, its called "Iris Mist" which is very close to burgundy mist. That one will have firebird pickups. The silver sparkle Banshee was ordered as a set with a matching flying V!!!
And finally, our first aged nitro Banshee, "Old Black", with its new owner. He's a good buddy of ours and He is playing it at gigs and loving it!!
We are just starting a batch of Banshees so wait time is slightly shorter for custom orders if you get them in as we are starting a run of them!!!!!!

There have been some really cool Banshees coming and going recently and a bunch more in the works. Here are a few new ones. This 2 P-90 one in "Riverside red" only lasted a few hours once it got here. The second one is a new Banshee color. It's called Iris Mist, An old car color that seems like a silvery burgundy mist kind of color with two firebird pickups. That one Doug just finished and will be on the way in a few days. And lastly, this awesome green one that Doug K built with cool carbon fiber guard and rings!!!
We have a bunch of really cool ones in the process of being built and an extra special Banshee being built for the New York Amp Show in June!!!!

We did another Banshee video recently. We hadn't done one with a Banshee with firebird pickups and we just got an amazing one in "Iris Mist". The pickups are Klein firebird pickups and they sound amazing.
We also have been working on this special edition Banshee for the New York Amp Show. Unfortunately, Doug Kauer will not be able to make it to the show but we will have it at Adam Grimm's room with Satellite Amps. This one was pinstriped by a Mindless Pinstriping, Friends of Doug's, and they did an amazing job. Now it is heading to Brooklyn NY to Josh at Protocaster Guitars for a nitro clear coat, final assembly, and some light aging. Doug said it is extremely light, about 6.5 lbs with parts. It should be done just in time for the show!!.

We recently did a video for the special edition pinstriped Banshee. Besides it being so cool looking, and weighing just slightly over 6lbs, its also the first one to have a stop tailpiece/tunomatic set up with firebird pickups. Just another cool configuration to consider when ordering one. Also a teaser shot of the next Banshee, should be done in a few weeks.

We have two really cool new Banshees finishing up this week, just in time for this weekends Brooklyn Guitar show. This one pickup sunburst one is currently on the bench at Protocaster guitars getting some of Joshs Grove's aging magic. This one was inspired by Clapton's Firebird one he used in Cream.
The second one is a really nice looking inverness green with mini-humbuckers. This one is shipping out tomorrow!! We have another few finishing up. We have another pinstriped, aged one finishing up in a few weeks. Our last one is now with Scott from Rival Sons, great player, great band and a great guy, we are really psyched he is enjoying his Banshee!!!
Also, we are really excited that our Iris Must Banshee is now with
Matt shofield, below is a pic of him wailing on it at this years Montreal Jazz festival.

We are getting ready to run the last batch of Banshees of the year. It has been an amazing year for Banshees, We've done some really amazing custom builds. We are really psyched to have some really amazing players out there tearing it up on their Banshees, and to have lots of happy Banshee owners out there. It has been really fun helping people get theirs. Doug Kauer likes to build these guitars in batches so this will be the last bunch of the year. Some are already spoken for but there are a few spots
left. They will finish up right around Christmas time!!!!
Here are a few from the last batch, the aged sunburst Banshee One sold very quickly at the Brooklyn Guitar show, the Inverness green with mini humbuckers is still available.
