Changing guards on a Nocaster

Just out of curiosity, I put a white p/g on my Nocaster this afternoon just to see how I liked it. Well, I did like it. Liked it alot.

I didn't take a pic, though. Actually the white guard that I used didn't even fit properly on the Nocaster.

I've always liked the lookn of the post '54 Telecaster. But then again, I've never insisted on black:

It's amazing how a simple p/g swap can alter the look/vibe of an instrument.
