I use a Line 6 HD500 with a Marshall amp. Looking to buy a Fuzz pedal and I've narrowed it down to the Dunlop fuzz Face JH and the MXR 108 Classic. I'm leaning towards the Fuzz Face but I've heard it doesn't play nice with ..well anything. Every opinion I've read has said that the Fuzz Face sounds slightly better
Would I run into issue using the Fuzz Face in line with my Hd500?

the mxr is a great pedal that sounds great and can play well with others. That would be my choice. I hate limitations due to effect placement in a chain.

I haven't tried the MXR, but the Dunlop rules. When I'm using a Fuzz Face, I generally like a raw tone, so the fact that it doesn't play well with others (similar to my sunface and '69 mkii) is not that big of a deal. The purity of tone with the Dunlop running first in line is great. It is a great fuzz face!
I've used my GGG Fuzzface in front of my HD500 and it sounds really good.
