The Xotic line is one of my favorites. Love them. The RC has always been on my board. The BB is one of my personal favs. The AC is also a favorite.

The Flat Five is actually on my board right now. I'd say it's somewhere between the AC and BB. More gain than the AC in the higher setting. But Fat like the AC.... The Xotics might be a little more transparent.

The Xotics do have the Eq treb & bass wich is awesome. I just really like how the b5 is voiced. It works great with my rig. It's my new go to overdrive.

I'd say if you like Xotic stuff, you'd probably dig the b5.....

This is a great pedal. The extra compression is the secret to this thing. Takes the harsh pop out of single coil guitars without getting muddy or fizzy. Makes humbucking guitars sound buttery smooth. The only thing I ever tried that was close was a hand wired 2006 Burst Eternity, but this pedal is even smoother. Great job Todd!

I got to gig with it Saturday and I really love it. It's one of my favorites. Very natural and makes you forget you're playing a pedal. The tone knob is great live. When I felt I was getting buried in the mix, I just turn the tone up and I'd cut through.

I liked the pedal when I first saw the Hinds video too.

Thanks guys for watching. That Allen Hinds video is great. That guy could play through a Peavey Bandit and make it shine. He's got amazing touch.
