Hi, I just bought Avri Jaguar recently and I feel that the bridge pu is a bit too harsh (it might be the jag's nature) and also lack of sustain. I'm kinda new to guitar mods & not really familiar with this pickup types/brands differences.

I've read about lollar and other companies but they are trying to make a good replica of an old jaguars which I'm not too concerned. Just for reference, I play post rock, classic rock, indie kind of thing, but also in a worship band.

And this guitar tends to go out of tune too much I feel like waste too much time with the pitchblack pedal rather than playing. What could be the prob? (yes I stretched the strings beforehand) I'm currently using Ghs boomers 10-46 and will change to 11 next time.

Sorry I'm just a newbie, any opinion & suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

For your tuning problem I'd recommend better tuners. Locking ones preferably, especially if you jag has a trem and you use it often.

Don't wanna be a killjoy, but before you spend monies on pickups, the ones you have may simply need the heights adjusted... Next you will benefit a lot from trying out different string gauges, constructions and brands. I know that a lot of folks simply try to force a uniform string gauge and brand onto all of their instruments. Guess folks identify with being a 11 player or makes buying bulk more economical? Every instrument is unique and I think folks would get to know themselves as players and their new instruments to spend a couple months just trying out different strings.

Even though they don't return my phone calls or emails, the Mastery Bridge will help quite a bit. I love it on my AVRI JM, worth every penny.

Having said all that, I am a complete Lollar fanboi. I have a lot of different brand pickups, but I really like the way Lollar voices pickups.
