I tend to wear layers and always wind up in a t-shirt after playing for anythig over a half hour. Does everyone get hotter when playing? I'm not moving around much all except for the head-bob, but I almosty always break a light sweat.
How about you?

Pour sweat esp. if I sing. The bridges on my Telecasters eventually look like boat anchors from rust. Acidic sweat or something.

You got to get hot before you get cool.

Yes. I've started on ice cold stages, and by the second set I'm working up a sweat. The exception would be some of the outdoor gigs in fall or early spring.

Yes.... this happens to me, more so in the summer/fall so I always bring Johnsons Pure Corn Starch Baby Powder for my hands and few extra shirts to change into between sets.

I have always had a sort of ritual before I play where I take off my watch or cell phone and take my wallet out of my pocket and put it away...time and money not the issue! The only thing in my pocket is a bandana or something to wipe my face and sometimes the face of the guitar. Not so bad if I just play behind someone but singing and playing makes me moist.:omg

Big time....starts off cool, but once the crowd hits, sweat time. I put my guitar away wet.

I sweat buckets when I play, even if it's a cooler room. I end a gig looking like I've taken a shower in my clothes.
For me, it's not necessarily the playing that makes me sweat. Being my own roadie will usually bring on some precipitation before a gig. The stage lights don't help the situation, either!

If it's above 40 degrees, I'm likely sweating. Just my metabolism I guess.

Always. The chrome on my guitars is pretty corroded and the finish always wears quickly on the upper bout of the body. Strings are single gig only.

Yes, I've always got hot and started to sweat when playin'. Doesn't matter if the club or rehearsal room is cold before hand.
