I want to share my experience with the Tweaker this afternoon. Few days ago I was modifying my Boss DS-1. It's called the JCM mod. I don't have the money for a Marshall and thats the tone that I like (Tesla, Cinderella, ZO2, Candelbox, VH, etc.). I mean the classic Marshall tone. The mod worked so good for the pedal that I began to tweak the amp again. Thats the good thing of this amp, right! From the beginning I had the Tweaker I didn't use the USA mode. For those who want something like a Marshall tone try this: vintage, USA, treb 10 o'clock, mid 2 o'clock, bass 12 o'clock, normal, deep and gain at 12 o'clock. Here's the important thing; the master was at 11 o'clock. Im saying this because if you tweak the amp at low volume and then turn up the master the tone changes. It gets bright, like having more presence. At 1 o'clock is another thing. It feels full and bright. That's why I turn down the treble. And that setting with the pedal in front the amp was awesome. (The settings for the pedal were: tone at 10 o'clock, level 11 o'clock, drive 2 o'clock.) It was full and balanced. Bright but creamy at the same time. All of this and I wasn't using the Brit mode! Interesting. If somebody wants to try this I would love to know your opinion about it.
