Thinking of putting a humbucker in the bridge position of a Tele, as well as a Strat neck pickup and I'm wondering what to go for in the bridge. Any thoughts on the Chopper T? Any other similar rails pickups to suggest?
Richie Kotzen use it on his tele.
I have a regular chopper (is the same pickup) on one of my guitars and love it. Here´s a little clip from a friend playing that guitar. He also used the neck pup (cruiser bridge) but you can tell when he´s using each pup.

Less twang, more grunt. More versatile, but lose some of the tele charm. Worth a try!

How are the middle position tones with the Chopper T?

That sounds great...very humbuckerish and not Tele-ish but for that style....noice!

That's a pretty hot pup and your cleans will diminish as a result. I settled for a tone zone T for my tele and it cud handle all the gain you cud throw at it with great sustain. Its like a tele meets LP. Iirc, Still pretty hot @ 16 ohm resistance and the cleans sounded decent and blended well in the mid position too.

Yeah, I was curious about the mid-position with this in the bridge.

I have nothing good or bad to say about the Dimarzio but I can tell you that I've got different SD single space HBs in 3 tells and I love them all. I've got a Vintage Stack, a Hot Rails, and a lil '59er. Nothing but good results with SD in my experience.
