Just spent a good 2.5 hours basking in the glow of my Glaswerks SOD II after a 65 hour week at work without touching my axe all week! Man, did it feel good to plug in and play! What a gorgeous sounding amp that just delivers the goods every time.
One of the unique features of Gary's masterpiece (not available on any other D-style that I'm aware of) that I've only really explored in depth lately is the Treble control on the RF-based non-HRM channel. I don't know anything about the underlying electronics, but this knob allows you to tune the high end of the non-HRM OD channel w/o affecting the clean channel Treble and without changing the circuit from non-HRM to HRM. It's all still pre-OD tonestack. This lets you get a perfect balance in highs between Clean and OD without using the Bright-On-Clean-Only if you don't want to while still retaining every nuance of the non-HRM mode. BRILLIANT!
These are totally outdated settings here, but that independent non-HRM OD section is in the upper middle row of the center section. Very cool and useful concept.
