Thank you!

Yes, clean is really good with the Tonker.
It's too much for my Fuchs. But with Fender is good.

Very similar to the Swamp Thang (2" voice coil, 150 watts)
with more chunky mid?
SRV Strat '67 Pro Reverb Eminence the Swamp Thang OD solo over G7 G7 C7 G7 (http://editweb.iglou.com/eminence/eminence/media/soundclips/SwampThangODsoloStrat.mp3)

Really light od tone with ES 335.
Swamp Thang with ES335 Rear light OD tone (http://editweb.iglou.com/eminence/eminence/media/soundclips/SwampThangODsolo335.mp3)

I've wanted to play that since I got your CD, Tomo!
But I'm having a bit trouble figuring it out, you don't happen to have a tab lying around?:)

Same here Tomo. I really need to brush on my funk playing, and a tab of what you are playing to work from would be much appreciated.

Cool stuff. Keep it up.

All the best,

DD

Hi Carlos,

Thank you so much!

I am still working my time. I finished 5 tunes for
new cd! Kenwood Dennard played on drums.
Really FUNKY!

Voicings... I think those are coming from..
Joe Pass, horn section sound, piano.. I love organ
sound too.

Thank you.

Tomo, you are incredibly gifted! Amazing funk guitar stuff, but everything you do is very classy. That first clip, what guitar did you use? Very cool sound.

Hat off, and all the best.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your kind words on my playing.

I am still working on my funk rhythms. but these
all come from my swing chops.

I did use my SRV Strat w/ Frailn 3-4% overwound,
41 CP rear.

That's all.

Thanks,

Tomo

Thanks, Martin!

I love live performance. Every time is different.

Last night I played Just Funky, I did use volume swell
for a couple of chorus. That was fun to play!

Kenwood Dennard played on drums. We did a lot
super funk trade solo.

Great work! Some of the voicings remind me of kind of thing you might hear Tuck Andress play when he's smoking! :) Very inspiring rhythm work indeed!

All the best,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Thank you so much!

You have great taste in music. I think Tuck studied with
Joe Pass and he used to play top 40(Funk, classic R&B).

I did similar experiences. Played with many funk, R&B,
blues band. I love Joe Pass's playing. I took lesson from
Joe.

I play a lot of solo guitar style. But I add funk with that.

Thank you.

I am working on my new cd. Watch out.
More rock & funk.

Robert,

First clip with the Tonker.

Fender '65 Pro Reverb. (new caps but all stock no special
mod)

Frailn's
STEEL POLED (42) on my rear pick up. less wound.

Sorry not 41 CP, I meant SP 42.
42 gauge wire. A little hotter than regular rear.

I love that tone. I hope I answered your question.

Thank you so much! That was all improvised playing.
I played 2 sets. Non stop. Sometime unprepared ,non perfection
makes good music. I like take a chance.

Thanks,

Tomo
