I just ordered this pedal Based on The chatter here. As I await for it I am searching out demos. I found a ton But it seems all the demos are of folks with the mix and decay dimed playing some ambient chords that sound like "Music for Dolphins" or the Bad side of Radiohead or some choral P&W type stuff.

I love reverb but more of a subtle fenderish type, Its an always on effect for me. The important part of a verb for me is how it sits with the dry sound of the guitar.

Does anyone know of any Demo of this pedal that do not seem like the "chanting" is about to begin.

Also Anyone run this in the loop? or is it best in the front end?

For reference I play roots music or alt country if you like.

Thanks

Have you checked Strymon's clips on their website?

Yes it can be subtle, and yes check Strymon's site. You can even set the pre-delay.

I have a BSR and run it in the loop of my amp - last in the chain of the loop.

Yes, the BSR does some great subtle spring reverb, it's one of the best pedals I have had for this purpose. I do also play ambient music, so I find it is perfect for those "music for dolphins" settings.

I don't have a demo of subtle reverb but like others have said, check the Strymon site. Also check their Youtube page.

The mix knob is very powerful in my experience. I feel like I can dial in the EXACT amount of wet singal while my dry still stands out. I use it for both "add some tint to my sound" and "shimmer the hell out of the sound". Its a pretty robust pedal, all in all. Worth the time and expense to get it and get to know it.
