You guys missed the point. The whole firefight was ABOUT how high he wears his guitar. His friends (poor fashion choices notwithstanding) are defending him from some militant Harmony Central lowslung guitar fanatics.

I'd be more concerned that the yay-hoo behind him doesn't appear to worry too much about having buddies out of his field of fire.

Edit: The Russian Kord 12.7mm is fireable from the hip, albeit with a serious accuracy problem, but the rounds in the a-gunners hand in the second photo look too small to be anything bigger than 7.62mm.
