Edward man! impressive, how you do that ?? it sound unique and personal, I don´t remember the name but I use to listen a dutch fretless guitar player at 70´s decade..always amazed me such sweet and expressive tone. btw, you can imagine the face of a session guitar player sight reading your solo from a score without know it was original from a freetless guitar? I can´t LOL

Goes against how I work. I like to record from the go without what comes next. Inevitably there are plenty off times where I fall on my ass.
But right now the only thing I'm doing is worrying about the intonation on fretless since I haven't played it in a while and have a few gigs coming up that are all fretless.

Sorry Ed, my comment had to do with the smallness of the file he posted, not your playing which I always get a thrill listening to btw! The file was no bigger than a postage stamp on my screen!

I would have no issuee with the criticism...my point was/is/woulda bee that I have no intention to be a Jazz guy. I'm a Rock dude that likes to draw outie the lines.

And a great rock dude at that. But coming from a somewhat jazz guy that tries to venture into other areas, your interpretations are very exciting to listen to. Music is music. I think that style labels are a bit overrated, personally. And this forum is great to hear people in and out of their comfort zone. I am particularly fond of experimentation in music regardless of "label". Pushing boundries is where a lot of excitement is for me anyway. And I certainly get the opportunity to hear that in your playing which is great.

I have not tried to get too outside here yet. But I'd like to give it a try sometime. Just have to be in the mood! LOL
