Does this seem right:
neck pickup=middle tone control only
neck/middle pickup=BOTH tone controls
middle pickup=bottom tone control only
middle/bridge pickup=bottom tone control only
bridge pickup=bottom tone control only

I like bottom tone control for bridge and top tone control for everything else

Yep, that's right.

First tone is on the neck pickup, second tone is on the middle and bridge pickups. Being a "no-load" pot, there's no extra dulling on the N+M setting unless you turn the second tone down, off of its detent.
