Ha, I know that guy. A friend of mine did the Elvis/Beatles/Morrison murals.

He's getting hard up for cash. I tried to explain to him when he bought those things that shitty guitars with mid-level act signatures on them weren't likely to be worth much, but he didn't listen to me. They're wall decoration and not much more.

I stayed in a B&B in New Zealand years ago. The couple who owned it had some cool old guitars hanging in the parlor. I took one down and was messing with it. The lady of the house heard, came in and said "You should have a proper guitar." Brought me in two Martins. Her and her husband being in bands, recorded and such. I stayed there 3 nights in all, got a lot of playing in. Bought a real nice slide and gave it to the guy when I left. Wonderful people, nice guitars too.
