Good stuff! I particularly enjoyed the rhythm section's playing. The guitar tone/vibe sounded a lot like Trey Anastasio to me when you really started going for it, though a bit less congested than his tone. Are you playing a strat? As others mentioned, nice arrangement.

Thanks for all the positive energy! This is a very cool place to post music...all you guys are all so hip and open.

The gear on the cut was a 1982 "62" reissue Fender strat (rosewood neck)with 1968 Fender strat pickups and electronics.
I use a Fender Vibro-King amp. A big thanks to my guitar cunsultant and friend Steve Siciliano

Steve really knows his stuff so you may want check him out. Steve's also a great rock, blues and country guitarist.

I agree Frank, this site is a great and a positive land for sharing music and thoughts, discussions etc. I was introduced here by my friend Scott Lerner who is Berklee graduated like you and a impressive NJ based guitar player and a "heaven tone" owner. I will be glad by see you still posting your music here Frank. Ah ...great post on Foot Prints and cool band ... btw Gustavo Calle is a impressive drummer who is very appreciated here in Venezuela.

blessing and love

It's a small world I guess...Gustavo and I met a few years ago. He's an excellent drummer who also attended Berklee. He and I met teaching at the same studio in South Florida and he was my regular drummer for about a year. He now lives in New Orleans area and is on the road alot gigging. We still stay in touch. How did you meet him Carlos?

Excellent playing Frank! You have the kind of group I wish I had. Welcome to the Gear Page! Let's hear more stuff!

Next time I am in your neck of the woods in Florida, I want to jam!

Hey Frank, great playing and arrangement.
I have a friend that lives in Abacoa in Jupiter, our drummer, let us know when you play there again, maybe we can make the trip down.

Allan.

Yes, very nice. It almost sounds like you are the forbidden love child of Jeff Beck, and John McLaughlin. During the beginning, it does sound a lot like Jeff & John trading licks on, "Django," off of McLaughlin's, "The Promise." Great band! I'd love to hear you guys tackle Jazz Jungle, off the same release.
