I have always thought Grovers and Pings were heavy. Some Schallers are really light. Some of the older Schallers that had plastic housings were quite light.
Klusons are also not very heavy.

Here's your bone,

Look at the specs, and you'll find the weights of each set

Ok.. this thread has been quiet a couple of days so allow me to hijack.

Am I reading this wrong?

Full Size Rotomatics weight: approx. 9.6 Oz
Keysone Grovers weight: approx. 6.8 Oz

(9.6 - 6.8) X 6 = 16.8 Oz

So just chaning the tuners would shave a pound off the weight of my guitar? (dont ask why that is or is not important ;)

Yeah.. I had to lookup how many oz in a lb. If I had thought about it more 1/2lb per tuner seems a little steep :)

Soorry to disturb :)
