I'm aware of Rowyco, any others out there that you recommend? Just want to know what my options are.

I've seen great results using Duplicolor automotive acrylic lacquers. I would still suggest a nitro clear coat like Minwax (fast drying compared to reranch and deft) for the best shine.

I heard Warmoth used to do finishes for people with unfinished bodies. No idea if that's true or if they still would (and I bet they wouldn't touch a set neck with a 10 foot pole) but they do a great finishing job and you'd have tons of finish options through them. Again, can't promise they would but its worth a call

ping JimS... I can't remember who did his Firebird (its pissing me off cause its right on tip of my tongue) but it was Urethane iirc and came out GORGEOUS.

nrandall85, I'm really, really trying to avoid nitro if at all possible.

JaySwear, it looks like Warmoth will only finish parts they make, but thanks for the suggestion.

dougk, I found the thread, and it looks like Jim used Pat Wilkins. I plan to get in touch with Pat, thanks!

Please keep the suggestions coming!

Marty Bell uses a poly type finish, super hard but very thin

Another vote for Marty Bell...

I have had several guitars painted by Marty, and top notch work.
