I see some attenuators with TMB tone controls and some without and this got me thinking.
I know attenuating can cause the lose of high friquences.
So having a TMB could be useful but in general could tone knobs possibley make the tone less transparent, even though the attenuated tone with the eq might get you closer the original unatenuated tones frequency range?
Im hearing a lot of love for the air brake and its just a straight up vol knob attenuator. So maybe tone knobs are part of the loss of transparent tone.
Some attenuators work better with different amps but I had this question in my head.
Btw im not looking for an attenuator as I have no need for one:aok
