Tech 21 tm60, 1 x 12 vs 4 x 10

I've owned a TM60 1 x 12 for well over 10 years and gig with it almost exclusivily. Great amp! I also have the Power Engine 60 which I'lll use from time to time. I am wondering how the 4 x 10 version of this amp sounds? I read a review where the guy said it sounded different from the 1 x 12 with the same settings. Anyone out there ever compared the two side by side?

I've owned both and still have the TM60 1x12, the 4x10 is nice but if you want to try different speakers it gets expensive real fast. I replaced the 12" in my TM60 with a Eminence Wizard and the amp really came alive & the distortion channel improved significantly. Another trick I have found is to put a Xotic EP Booster in front of the amp, this takes the amp to another level that will compete with any tube amp I've played ( Fenders, Marshall's, Vox, and many boutique brands). Great amp and Lloyd in the service dept. at Tech 21 is excellent to work with.
