Hi. I have an Two Rock TS-1 100 watt amp. I have been recommended Sylvania 6L6 GC str 415 for this kind of amp. Are this the ones?

What do you tube people out there think about power tubes for this kind of amp? Also right now i have The TAD 6l6 GWC str in the amp that the amp come with. They sound good but just curious about NOS. Also right now i experiment with preamp tubes. I have change the Reissue Tungsols 12AX7 to one RCA 12AX7 in the first v1 and an NOS short plate Mullard 12AX7 in v2(overdrive slot) I also have a 59 Longplate Mullard 12AX7 GE 12ax7. I just wonder if it is worth changing from TAD to NOS Sylvanias?
Please feel free to write.

L.

Thanks

They are the best 6L6 tubes I've tried. You should notice some difference, but it will probably not be earth shattering. They reall opened up the amp and added clarity, sparkle, and punchiness. They shoul be much more sturdy and last considerably longer than current made tubes.

Great tubes. Had them in my old Mesa....when they died I actually sold the amp.

I have TADs in mine and are very happy with them.
