A few weeks back, a member posted a great little video with a proven technique for restringing a guitar quickly and reliably.
It was by a tech who used to work for a number of big name bands, but for the life of me I cannot remember his name or the names of any of the bands he works for so I cannot find that video on Youtube.
Many other 'How to restring a guitar' videos on there, but I really liked the technique displayed on the one posted here, because it seemed really quick and nifty.
It was the one where you thread the string through the post, come back 3 finger widths, then do a double bend on the string to secure it before winding. I just cannot remember the sequence of the two bends that you do.
I'd appreciate it if someone could repost that video, or else point me to that original thread from a few weeks ago.
Thanks!
NOTE: I'd really love for TGP to have some sort of 'Wiki' section where useful snippets of information like this can be stored permanently and cross referenced.
