Oh man, that sucks!
Sucks that I'll have to get yet another amp soon. :) Thanks for the clips. I too am curious about the speaker cab used.

I'll have to get back to you on that... I used several, 2x12 and a couple of 4x12's.
Thanks!

Loud! 7 Watts Class A cranked is definitely not bedroom levels.
Stayed tuned for a detailed report on how I recorded this and the cabinets I used.

Oh... my bad, there's a slight delay on the solos, but everything else is bone dry.

Believe it or not... used a PODxt cab sim!!
Amp > Hotplate > Line Out > PODxt Input > no amp > studio mode > cab sim > Mbox

I would think so. I hooked-up the head with a CAE 1x12 loaded with Eminence Man-O-War. The bedroom is about 12x12 ft... very loud! Made my ears ring!
Sounded great... there's just something about hearing an amp live that, IMO, a mic cannot possibly fully capture.
If you have a chance, play one in person... it's truly a different experience!!

On the:
Amp > Hotplate > Line Out > PODxt Input > no amp > studio mode > cab sim > Mbox setup...
What type of cable do you use from the Line Out on the Hotplate to the PODxt? Guitar? Speaker?

My birthday happens to be 2 days after Christmas. So, I got some cash and gift certificates to Junior's Music. Paul has one of these in stock and I'm getting some GAS for a Lucky 7 as we speak....

I should use a better cable, but I use a regular stock 1/4" audio cable.

Tone,
Happy B-Day! I have so many things I want, guitar wise. I actually just purchased a small Reverend Goblin to use as a practice amp, a few months ago. So, buying another amp almost seems like too much. I don't even have a cabinet! I'd be using my Dr. MAZ Junior 2 x 10 combo for the Lucky 7 for now. I'll have to go up to Junior's and try it out. If it moves me, we'll see!
Thanks for the clips!
Joe:)

Happy b-day to you as well!!
I know your pain... I'm really itching for a Suhr Tele, but I looks like it will have to wait for 2007.
2006 is the year of woodshedding and recording... I don't want to spend any time thinking or obsessing over gear.
