Are there such a thing?
If so, what are the stores or online places to know about?

Go through the Guitar Center catalog and circle all the things you would consider "a piece of crap"...THATS where the deals are...if you actually want it, no deals :)

I think Black Friday was sweet before it became its own holiday. About 12 years ago when I was in high school I bought a used Mark III combo for $600 or so from GC. It was a ridiculous deal. In '99 I got an ESP Eclipse (before the LTD junk) with EMGs for $400. More recently, I think I've gotten midi controllers and what not, but for the most part, it's BS now. Unless you're looking for a Casio learner piano or Squier starter pack, save yourself from the $50 off bargain.
Nowadays, scanning Craigslist is your daily Black Friday / Groupon if you're lucky. Some lucky bastard got an Ibanez FG-100 for $600 from a seller who got it from a relative who didn't seem to know what it was (looked great condition in the picture).
