I'm considering it. Anyone else?

I will. I have tons of music that would be nice to back up and use on all devices. I am already living in Apple's Universe, so compatibility is a nobrainer.

Probably not, because lossy music files grate on my ears after awhile. I ripped my 2000+ CD collection into iTunes TWICE.

The first time as mp3 @320kbps, which sounded great on my iPod, ok on my car stereo, and crappy on my home stereo.

So I re-ripped them all into AIFF files ( I didn't want to get locked into Apple Lossless), which sound good on everything, even though they take up a lot of hard drive space.

So - in short, no. I like much of what Apple does, but life's too short to get locked into low-res music formats....

I might. I've been using Spotify pretty exclusively as of late but I do have a more than healthy iTunes library. Why wouldn't I want it in the cloud?

i'm pretty sure i will. i'm a little bit of an audio snob, but even with my mid-to-high-end stereo, i have a tough time telling the difference between lossy and lossless at 256 or better. the only time i notice is with my jazz records and a few other well-recorded albums. but those i mostly listen to on CD anyway, if it's not for background music.

for $25/year, it's hard to beat the convenience of not having to haul around all my music everywhere and wondering which device which album is on.

i say :aok

$25 a year for that service, plus buying more iCloud storage.. I'll just stick to manually managing my playlists. I've never felt the need to have ALL my music on my phone.

I was an iOS 5 beta tester and have been using this for a couple of months now. The thing I do NOT like is that it basically removes all the music from your iPhone when you sync and requires you to redownload the music to your device to listen to it. I turned it off and haven't used it since.

I still like the idea of being able to scroll through my entire library and download a song I really want to hear but there are still playlists that I WANT to stay on my iPhone. When iTunes will allow that, I will probably start using it again.
