Hey guys.
I JUST received my new Trailer Trash board.
Im really excited to set it up.
Here are the effects I will be using on this board.
What order do you think I should put these?
What should stay and what should go?
Analogman Bi Compressor
Subdecay Prometheus DLX
Tuner
Analongman KOT
Buzzy Boy
Keeley Katana
Timmy
Seed of Life
JHS Klone
MXR Smart Gate
EQ
TRex RoomMate
Strymon El Cap
Strymon Timeline plus remote
Volume pedal (for expression pedal)
Goatkeeper Tremolo
Maxon FL9 Flanger
T1M Buffer
TRex Replica
Im planning on T1M buffer as #1, and the El Cap as last.
Im going to drill the board so the cables go through it.
What order should I use these pedals? I dont need them all.
What is overkill?

I also have an X Blender which I was thinking of using for the Maxon FL9, as it colors the tone darker.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. I can speak to this in general terms, but most of the decisions have to be made by you.
T1M first is a great idea. IF you are going to leave it on all the time you could mount it underneath to save space on top. From there I would go in to your compressor. Next I would stack the drivers you want to use. I have five drives on my TT board. However the Timmy is second after my TS-9 overdrive. I like the way it stacks before my Screw Driver, Top Fuel, and OCD.
Oddly, I put my boost after my drives. When I put it before them it tended to get absorbed creating more gain and less volume boost.
From there I would go into your volume pedal, and then to you time based effects like your Timeline and El Capitan.
I run my tuner out of the Volume Pedal split. Some folks don't like this, but I have a buffer running just before the VP thanks to my switcher to make up for the signal split.
Here's a pic of my board. The Musicomlab is a looper/switcher, but what I've described is pretty much my signal chain. Hope the helps. And have fun with the build.

I havent used my EB Volume as a volume pedal, as on my main board I run a Hilton which is just a billion times better tone wise.
This board will be my small board. I have a PT Pro for my big gigs.
This one is for at home and rehearsals etc. More transport friendly as it is smaller. ;)
Im just looking for suggestions on what to do, as I havent set anything up in quite a long time.
How do you mount your power supplies under the board?
Velcro for your PP2+?

Yep, I mounted my PP2+ with industrial strength Velcro. I've had no issues.
When I laid my board out I forgot to take into account where the PP2+ was underneath. I cut it close a couple of times when drilling holes for my patch cables running to the in and outs of my pedals.

The adhesive on the velcro can lose its grip after a while of supporting the power supply hanging upside down.
A better method is to get a piece of 1/2" 90 degree aluminum from Home Depot, etc. Cut it to the depth (front to back) of the PP2+. Drill holes to align with the 2 cover screws. Attach the 90 degree with those screws. Drill another hole in the remaining side of the 90 that is flat against the bottom of the board, and attach with a 1/2 wood screw. Do the same for both sides of the power supply. Works like a charm.

Are you going to do the four cable method?
Either way-run the tuner as late as you can in front but before any modulation. Or just after the compressor-that way you can get a more sustained and true signal going into your tuner.

And with the buffer. Typically people run it first in the chain but I find that it is something you should experiment with. Some pedals may/may not "get along" with it.

This is true. Of course fuzz pedals should go before any buffer, and some your pedals may already have a buffer built in. It may work better to place the buffer some where in the middle of the chain. It all comes down to experimentation.
If you do use Velcro it seems that Rooster suggests on his site that heating up the surface with a hairdryer prior to adhering the adhesive works best. Seems to help with bonding with the wood.

Indeed :D
I'm using an ISP decimator which doubles as a buffer. It works best at the very end of my chain. No tone suck and it quiets down the unwanted noise, it's a win-win.
