Floating in Just Waves (Cool ambient with some Just intonation..)

And what am I doing.. ALL is live and live sampled guitar.. no canned loops
Sampling on 4 tracks and playing back with slower speed and all set to diffrent rates according to just intonation intervals. Each track is then played back with lenght of the sequencer track set so that the whole sample is played... this way all playback track have diffrent lenghts also in "just" intervals...
Then i improvise/play a melody over my sampled guitar and sometimes sampling guitar again...

So the different loop lenghts gives a organic and evolving feel, first I have all loops recorded at once later I sometimes re-record all or most often one of the loops..

All is done 100% live with guitar into Elektron Octatrack straight into recorder...

Hmm this is maybe to strange... :) on the other hand the "melody" is, mostly, pentatonic.. maybe even blues noodling.. sort of :p:hiP:omg

I just went with it, and it turned into a kind of modern indian drone for meditation.

playing the thing was very much a meditative experience.. Since all part have their own rhythm it was kind of difficult timing stuff... but fun indeed... :hiP
