How do you prefer your patty ?

I'll take it medium well, red onions, deli mustard and swiss cheese.

My prefered version not always available.

Good quality fresh beef cooked to about medium on a flat top. Grilled buttered bun with a schmear of good guacamole, paper thin slices of red onion, grilled jalepeno slices (fresh NOT pickled), a slice of gooey pepperjack, just a little bit of ketchup, and a slice of bacon.

Bun? Lately I've been getting into using a pita or other flat bread. I like the resulting meat to bread ratio.

Medium to medium-well. I like my steaks RARE, but undercooked ground meat is dangerous.

Yuck....I'd rather not eat than eat a burger done well.

If it's a thicker patty, I'll take it medium. Thinner patties, I can stand medium rare so they don't get dried out. The best burgers, sadly, are the ones with the fattiest meat. Which means I only allow myself to have a "best" burger a few times a year.

Either way, I love a burger with bacon, BBQ, cheddar, and pickles.

I don't mix meat and dairy, but I'd drive over my momma for that burger!

I'd drive over your momma for In N Out too.

I like my burgers between medium rare and medium. There has to be a little pink, especially if it's buffalo.

I don't eat beef anymore.

Therefore I do not eat burgers. A burger is a BEEF delivery device and no substitutions are allowed.

Everything you can try, whether soy, or turkey, or chicken. Whatever. Just don't.

Either eat a damn burger the right way or don't do it at all.

Right?

I like mine pink inside, crisp outside, plain on a bun. Maybe some salt and pepper. No superfluous bull****.
