Not that far south, but Pete Cage of Cage Amps (audiocage.com) is as good as they get and a great guy to boot. He's repaired/tweeked several of my amps to absolute perfection. He's in Damascus, MD., not far from DC. or Columbia.

Also worthy of consideration, if he's still there, is Jeff Bober of Budda in Glen Burnie, MD (correct me if I'm in error here)

I think he is in the Glen Burnie/Halethorpe area (found both addresses when I Googled; don't know which one is more recent), and does his repair work under the company name of Precision Audio Tailoring. Then again, this may be too far north for foomotoquasique, since he was inquiring about the sourthern area of the state.

Try Bob Reinhardt in Evington, Va. I don't know that he does repairs BUT it's worth the phone call.
