I'm trying to find the closest thing to a tele pup in a strat size that I can and it has come down to these two. Which gets closer to that hard, punchy tele bridge tone?

The Seymour Duncan Twangbanger is MUCH more Tele-like than the Red Velvet.

That's funny, because I've read much more negative reviews about the Twang Banger than the Red Velvet. That's why I didn't include it in the original post.

I think the Stelly would get closest though because of the big pole pieces.

I had red velvets in a G&L Legacy. They were very mid-heavy. I liked the red velvets for single note leads, but they did not sound tele-ish in that particular guitar.
