I was looking around the internet for pictures of cool Telecasters and spotted this one. Anyone know if this is still made? It's pretty slick. I'm not a fan of Bigsby's but I have to admit this is a good-looking guitar.

Saw one in Gretsh orange on ebay a while back. As I recall, listed for $14 K.

:eeks Wow. I guess this'll go under the category of "appreciate from afar."

I was at a Fender Custom Shop event at The Music Zoo last year with Mike Eldred and Paul Waller. Paul brought one of these out and it is really an amazing guitar! In the OP's original post you can see what looks to be Paul's name on the ID tag. I think he has made a handful of these, this one White Falcon inspired, another in Gretsch orange, I think also one in green for Bono (although I could be remembering that one wrong).

Edit - Here is a link to the one Paul made for Bono: http://u2.interference.com/f197/bonos-new-fender-custom-shop-guitar-210079.html

I've seen pictures of trussarts set up like that and I think they are less than $5k.

For us mere mortals the nearest is a tele thinline, then retro fit filtertrons/TV jones and a bigsby..

Bob Logan, of Logan Custom Guitars, specializes in Tele's and he has thinline and Cabronitae models so I'd think he could do one of these easily at a reasonable price too.

I love my Logan Cabronitae w/ TV Jones pups.
