Don't answer that, just sit back with your favorite beverage, "turn on your lights and stay with me awhile and ease your worried mind, turn on your lights and stay with me awhile and ROCK STEADY!"

Till the day I die, baby, till the day I die ...

Sorry, with the exception of a couple of songs by The Firm he does nothing for me.

I don't know about greatest. But one of the best IMHO. And his voice has held up very well even if he does kinda look like Chuck Norris now.

He is incredibly good. I'm not a fan of his music, but the many is infinitely talented.

Freddie Mercury would fit that title, I think.

He is a definite top 5 and maybe even top 3. Lots of classics from the Bad Co days, but I was blown away by the three times I saw The Firm live. He owns the stage, is a true professional front man and brings it every time he steps onstage. I just wish he'd lose the weave. Any young kids today thinking of fronting a band should look to him as a model.

I love all Paul Rodgers and most of his catalog (Free, Bad Company, Firm), and he is without a doubt one of the most classic rock vocalists of all time. Perhaps not in the technical stratosphere as Freddie Mercury nor with the range of a Kerry Livgren, but still a top 10 all time rock voice.
I saw him about 3 years ago and his voice was great, but as is the case with most of his generation his hairline has gone back and his belt buckle was somewhere around his nipples. The wife beater he wore was ill fitting for a man of his age and stature. He needed to probably suit up at his age.

Cool. I've tried my best to sound like him, and now he's doing his best to look like me.

    Freddie Mercury
    Joe Lynn Turner (yes, him)

    I like him, but no.

I don't think there is anything that is the best music anything for all time.

Definitely belongs "in the best ever" rock vocalists conversation, IMHO.

Huh? I always thought Paul was a very good singer, but I have heard him sound dreadful, too.
