jan akkerman

    any of you guys know how jan akkerman (focus) does that ****?

    No!
    I had a mid 70's Framus Akkerman and the neck was almost classical shape, so I presume he comes from that angle.
    Great and highly original player

    He also plays lute, so I assume he`s a classicaly trained guitarist who like all of his contemporaries were also influnced by Rockabilly to great jazz guitarists of there day. One of my all time favorite guitarists!

    I suspect it has something to do with talent, years of hard work, and a unique vision. But I'd rather it just be a pedal or amp or something so I could buy it instead! ;)

    He is one of my favorites as well, great guy too (at least now, I heard he was not so great way back when) :)
