Greetings, hoping the wise folks here would have some advice for me on these guitars.

I picked up a 2013 Studio (Wine Red finish) on a Black Friday deal but with the changes coming to the 2014 version, I am wondering if the different materials for neck and fingerboard would make for a noticeably better guitar and I should return the 2013 and hold out for a 2014 instead.

    Here are the differences:

2013 Studio- mahogany neck, granadillo fingerboard
2014 Studio - maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, $100 cheaper, 120th anniversary plaque in 12th fret, and apparently improved strap holders

Pickups and tuners are the same.

So far, I dig the granadillo fretboard-- and the guitar does play very nicely...

I think if you like it, I'd keep it. I do like the new Studios, but if what you have plays nicely and sounds good, why mess with a good thing?
