The one thing that amazed everyone who touched this guitar...it must weigh 5 lbs at the most!!! It feels like a toy.....right up til you slap that first chord on it!!! I had a lot of guys who normally dont play tele style guitars come up to me saying they may have to rethink that!! LOLOL This is one of the prototypes that they sent out for guys to see out the BBQ I threw the other day. Honestly I think I like this one the most out of all of them they sent to the house. Its just phenomenal. It really has me thinking about a hollow type guitar for my next purchase! And the copper hardware is just the Cats Meow!!!

I want to say Jerry sand blasts or bead blasts the wood vice sanding it smooth giving it a rougher finish

Just so we are clear, this isn't my guitar....I conned David and Jerry into sending me this guitar (which is a prototype), the limba guitar (which is for sale), and Dave friedmans personal guitar to me when I threw the huge guitar BBQ so that at least 60 or so east coasters could see Jerry's work in person. I actually bought the jazzmaster style guitar. If I could afford it they would all be mine.....SERIOUSLY!!!

Wow, I am 1000% on board with everything about that guitar. Love it!

Is that Leave it to Beaver just two houses down?

Probably the coolest looking Tele style guitar I've ever seen.

If I didn't make guitars (and had money HA!) I'd be all over one of those.

Looks gorgeous but I'd bet that finish would take the skin right off my forearm underside...

I love the copper on that but guitars without grain fill seem not worth buying to me.

I have been playing it on and off...hadnt even noticed any issues against my arm. I used to own the Thorn MooCaster (tele with fur on the top) and I can tell you that bothered the crap out of my arm. Maybe I dont rest my arm as heavily against the guitar....dunno...the pics make it look a lot rougher than it actually is though...

These Luxxtone guitars you have been showing have been really cool. I love the open grained and weathered look. They look like they would be very comfortable. Like a well worn pair of jeans. Great stuff and inspiring material and finish choices.

Thank you very much. I have been loving yours for years here. Very kind of you to say. This is in my top 5 all time favorite guitars ever. It simply haunts me. Amazing work.
