Ordered from Ishibashi last Friday, they had to get it from ESP and it still arrived this afternoon. Excellent packing job - box inside of box, bubble wrap inside of bubble wrap inside of bubble wrap - with still more on the outside of the box.

Unfortunately, I don't have a tuner or cables at the moment and it's sleeting/snowing pretty good outside (I'm from Texas, we're confused by this cold weather stuff)...

Damn, I like those Edwards. Tell us more when you can.

Did we ever determine if you can get a 130 non-reliced?

Awesome looking guitar man! I really dig the Edwards guitars (I've had 3 of them).
Amigo30...The 130 is only available in the Reliced version.

Dude... how much did it end up being with shipping? Does it have the Super Circuit (or whatever they call it)?

I think that, after the yen conversion, it was $1120 w/ shipping.

How heavy is it? The reason I ask is I had Joe's (buckwild) old Edwards Jimmy Page Replica with super circuit and it was actually too light. I know I have heard these aren't chambered but it's hard for me to believe. The JP lacked the sustain and low end chunk I'm used to with LPs. Not to rain on the parade. I think it looks great and I'd like to get another one if it was around 8.5-9 lbs.

It feels pretty hefty, but I don't have a scale.

    Beautiful!

    What a wonderful looking example!

You don't know Edwards till you plug one in, easily beats most standard gibby LPs! :D

Nice looking chair by the way!

I got the same guitar recently, also from Ishibashi. It doesn't lack low endchunck, or anything else. It plays like butter, it's a freakin tone machine I tell ya.

I played a 335 and a les paul in my first lifetime, when I played for a living. Since I started playing again a few years ago though, I've been all Strat and Tele. Till now. I haven';t taken any other guitar out of the house since I got this guitar. I loooooooooove it. :BEER

That is a sweet guitar. I'd love to get the Sykes model. That thing looks like a total heavy metal beast.

Holy crap, that's gorgeous. Really nice!

    :AOK

And yeah - snow in TX in March? WTF? N. Dallas was pretty well shut down by about 4:00 this afternoon. Of course, I didn't complain about having to leave work early today... :D

Very nice guitar! I'm a big Edwards fan myself and I think one of those might be in my near future...
