Why? The response is so easy to predict, you knew what it would be the moment you thought: "This song hurts my head, I wanna see if the other guys at TGP feel the same"

You can read minds? That's a powerful talent, and a dangerous one in the wrong hands.....

Not a fan of this guy at all. I dislike all the dubstep I've ever heard but Sonny Moore specifically gets my ire. He just co-opts old, underground sub-genres, waters them down and then blows up. He did the same thing with From First To Last.

Actually, Muhrenson's post came out of left field, I might have to alter my view of TGP slightly.

As for the song in the video, I enjoy the synth melody, but the farting noises in between are not my bag. I do like the video where he got the "OH MY GOSH!" snippet from.

My teenage daughter was a big fan of the band From First to Last (emo metal) that he used to be the lead singer in. I asked her if she likes Skrillex and she thinks it is "goofy computer noises."

Skrillex is garbage. I'm a long-time fan of dubstep, and he brings nothing to the table. My students (7th grade) always ask to play dubstep; I'll put on, say, the first Vex'd record and they'll yell "that's not dubstep!" So I'll ask them to put something on and they always play Skrillex. I feel like a rickety old man snapping back "THAT's not dubstep! What is this new-fangled noise?"

I haven't listened much to dubstep and would appreciate some recommendations..

I rather liked this, a lot actually:

Is it dubstep.. not that I really care. i like it it's good..
