I love this band. They never got as big as they should have...that's what she said? IDK, I just had an IPA the size of Montana.

Yep, cool band, but I'm really only familiar with Edges of Twilight.

Jeff Martin was, and probably still is, seriously interested in eastern and middle eastern music. I remember seeing him perform with the Toronto Tabla Ensemble. Very cool. He played a 12 string Tele; sounded great.

I never understood that either. The first album is kind of like Zeppelin fronted by Morrison. You'd think American radio would've eaten that up.

They are THE most underrated band in the world. (well, were)

Edges of twilight is epic. I almost hired their former drummer to do my record, but it didn't work out. They were one of the best live acts I've ever seen. I hope they get back together some day.

They're also one of the few bands I would want to see perform with samplers, triggers, etc.

could not agree more, i regret not going to the Calgary stampede to see them live..many of my co-works and friends have really enjoyed their music when i gave them a listen to the band..when they opened for Page/Plant, Jimmy called them the next led zeppelin but that never happened for some reason...

I miss those guys. I used to listen to them back in college. Kind of like 'psychedelic grunge' along the lines of Screaming Trees.

Their first record came out in about 93-94 (?) so they kind of got lost in the shuffle, as most US radio programmers were playing the Seattle bands. I'm in Canada, and they were pretty big up here.

Cool band. Very much a "Zeppelin meets the Doors" kind of vibe.

"Heaven coming Down" has a terrific 12-string riff. That song actually reminds me a bit of U2!

I totally agree. I think maybe the vocals throw some people off? I don't know but I have all their albums except the last one. Definitely one of my favorite bands!

Great band, one of the best concerts I ever saw was those guys at the Metropolis in Montreal. They played for about 3hr, long after the show was supposed to be over. The house lights were on and everything.

I agree. The acoustic track "The Badger" is just amazing, and every bit as awesome as anything Jimmy Page has ever recorded. Considering Jeff Martin played all of those Eastern instruments, along with an amazing guitar, has to make him one of the most talented musicians to ever play rock music.

Fantastic band and Jeff is a very underrated guitarist. I have seen the band about 5 time and Jeff on his own three times. I really would love to see them get back together again, but I think that Jeff's ego has gotten the best of him. Great great band.
