Some really cool circuit mods to pass on ...

1. Jumper the parallel 1M resister and 22pf cap that comes off the vol pot.
2. Lift (remove) the 1st stage 25uf bypass cap (12AX7).

These two mods are easily reversed and will sweeten up the tone without affecting volume.



3. Add a 47k resistor from the hot speaker lead to pin 8 of the 12AX7 (negative feedback) - this will really mellow out the tone a bunch more.

NOTE: not my chassis or pic, but you can see the 47K NFB resistor as it's connected to the RCA jack yellow hot output and pin 8 on the 12AX7 ...
