Thank You for the patches. I have to say, I really love the tone and simplicity of this thing. Really nice.

The delays and verbs on the g3 are worth the $200 alone, IMO. They're absolutely great.

I have el capistan and WET as my main delay/reverb combination and nova modulator for the modulations so I was thinking of seling the nova for funding the m9 but im not sure anymore. This g3 seems a rather good option for few filters and delays and reverbs. Does any1 have any soundclips of some WEIRD sounding patches (i dont care about the amp simulation)

Hmm, I discovered something really cool about the g3. You can use a keyboard sustain pedal as a tap tempo switch! I had one lying around but I never used it and I was reading a thread over at the effects forum and they were talking about using a sustain pedal as a tap tempo switch for a dd-7. So I tried it with my g3 and it worked! Saves me some money since I don't have to buy one.

Here's a pic of the one I used

It works and acts just like a normal tap tempo switch.

TAP tempo for delays?!?

Today I received my Zoom G3, together with a HardWire CS-2 Tube Distorsion pedal and a TC Electronics Hall of Fame.
I wanted the Zoom G3 mainly for delays and modulations,.... and they sound goood!
But... there is one thing that maybe don't understand yet : how to set up the TAP button for delays? Because I saw that the TAP can only change the global tempo for rhythm. , and that's not very important to me. I want to change te time of delays, but pressing the TAP button can't change anything on delays.... and that's really piss me off . In the manual there is mentioned that for the master tempo:

" NOTE
• The setting range is 40-250.
• This tempo setting is used by every effect, rhythms and the looper."
... but I don't really understand how "using every effect" that master tempo if on delays can't change anything presing the TAP button.
Anyway, there is some way to change in "real time" , the time of delays using a ext. footswitch?
( I really hope that, because if not, then for me, is unusable in live situation without the possibility to synchronize with drum tempo , in real time).

Dang man, not planning on it, but if you want PM me with any questions, I am a pretty big delay and reverb guy so. Also my fav reverb is the HD reverb, and I have done a video comparing it to the Modulated reverb on the RV-5 and RV-7, here it is

Regarding delay and reverb spillover, it appears as though you can control the input level of an effect via expression pedal.

Does anyone know if, say, you're playing with a delay and you lower the input level to 0 will it subsequently bypass that effect only and let the trails ring out?
