My new/used R9 Les Paul (OMG)

Hey everyone. I recently got a new/used R9 Les Paul from my friend/buddy/guitar tech. He has about 40-50 guitars and most are vintage and or rentals. He decided to part with this Les Paul as it wasn't a vintage one and he needed some money for a car restoration. He knows guitars and bought this for it's sound, not looks.

I'm a Les Paul lover and this one is amazing. Sounds as good as it looks. I finally got to use a pair of Tom Holmes humbuckers that I have been holding onto for sometime now. I could go on and on, but I won't.

To say I'm excited is a understatement. I'll give a tone report later. Here's a few pics

A little different lighting and some flash marks, but you get the idea.

Yowza! Exciting top! Looks like there's some sort of black hole gravity suck thing pulling the flame right through the middle. Gorgeous!

Thanks guys. I was told 1 in 10,000 might have figure like this.

Like I said, I'll give a tone report and comparisons to my Jimmy Page Les Paul later.

Gotta run.

Have a great weekend!!!!

HOLY
CRAP.....

That is the wildest flame I have ever seen.
Never saw one like that before..... its like
the flames are being sucked into a black hole,
Like they are on an acid trip......neato.

+1000 they sure do get slagged for their business practices, but as far as their guitars, they are still the tops in my opinion!!
