Music Toyz sent an email yesterday that they should be getting theirs today. So I'm looking at Saturday or Monday at best.

Awesome sounding pedal. I just picked up 6 from Fulltone this morning and have sold 3 already. Great range of sounds from Fenderish overdrive to heavy duty Marshall sound, and everything in between.
The active mid range control is an awesome feature, and very usable.

Would love to hear more about its tone, mine is on the way I got in on the first batch from Toyz. Fuller put up an interesting tidbit about why he didn't post sound samples. "Does anything and everything depending on how it's set" hmm... Could it be that this is really a masterpiece for him? I am honestly surprised at the reasonable pricetag too.

It does seem fairly reasonable compared to much of the popular stuff on TGP if it is a great pedal. On paper, it really looks like a slick design. I look forward to giving one a try.

Evan.

I won't have mine until Tuesday but I really found the OCD to be "next level" and this unit can only be good. Notice there's no mention as to its character, it is not compared to anything. I'm wondering about the midrange control which is probably the defining feature.

Can't beleive I never seen your shop. I cruise 2nd Street all the time and always go to that music shop on 7th Street, but they don't have any cool pedals or anything. Gonna go try a gt500 tomorrow

Mike seems to have developed new ideas according to his favorite amp at any given moment, which I like. I love my OCD v3,through a clean amp for JTM/plexi type sounds.
I seem to remember recently reading about his love for a certain small Vox and the fact that he was going after that feel and sound for the GT500,not really mentioning Marshall or Fender, but being inspired to recreate some of the feel and sound without marketing the pedal specifically to one trick sound.
Did you get that type of Vox like sound too?
Sounds like this may be the new grail.

I like dirt and with the distortion knob at 12:00 and my Strat on 10 it's plenty for me. Same guitar on 4 has just the right amount of break up. The booster side is very transparent. I assume it's like a Fat Boost but I haven't tried one so I'm not sure. I tried it with the boost first in the sequence and it was basically a more button. Just drives everything harder. From my short time with this pedal I can say that It's the best drive/distortion I've ever played.

can you offer any type of comparison to get a feel for what it sounds like? maybe vs. an ocd, fd2, E, Timmy, tonka truck being run over by an '84 sedan...anything!?

Not so much the tonka truck tone. I hate making comparisons. I did that once on some Lovepedals and Crunch and Break came to visit the thread. It has gobs of volume. The boost side has the tone of a really smooth and good overdrive. The distortion side is like nothing I've played. More grind than I know what to do with on tap. Mixing the two is fun. I apologize for my lack of descriptive ability. I'm sure some of the guys that are much better than me will be posting clips soon. I'm just grateful to have such a cool pedal.
