You need to make a full on DVD with these type things. They would sell like hotcakes...if you are into that kind of breakfast food.

Yeah, I think I'm going to. I was working on a CD but I actually think an instructional DVD would speak to more people and would have some usefulness beyond simply wanking.

I'm still trying to work out the lighting and the software. I'm using a 1200 watt lamp which set off the smoke detector during one of the takes...I may have to buy a pro flourescent light panel.....

Well done Jack.. excellent info..
Probably the first of it's kind breakin' down one of Benson's
physical techniques ...

Nice Jack. That Ebmaj7 (with C Dorian) is such a mainstay of his sound it isn't funny. Well done.

Very cool Jack!

Isn't that backing groove almost more of a C7 tonality because it has that "Car Wash" riff on top that's sliding into the major 3rd (top voice)?

I think it's sparse enough for either to work though, eh...

Yes you're right. I'm so brain-dead sometimes.

Well done as usual Jack. Funny thing for me, I got a bigger kick out of the sliding lick you played before the main one you explained in detail (you know, the one where you slide up the neck to hit the high Eb at the 11th fret, then the G, etc...that was like, total George!)

Yeah, those are so addictive. It's hard not to play them. Let me know if you want more details on that particular lick...

It would be great if you could brake down that particular lick with the slide(s)
in a manner similar to the staccato video!
