Just another demo I whipped up to teach a new band the tune and arrangement. I think it's a song about being a consultant for a software company, but I could be wrong. What it is for you is 5 minutes of your life you'll never get back if you listen to it. The last band I played it with, the other guitarist told me I had to cut out half the verses. But once we started playing, there was no way he could stop me if I didn't. I can be very childish sometimes.

Chapin Stratahoula into Adam Stark Sex Amp for the rhythm, Chapin TBird into Fargen Super Collider for the solos, such as they are. All into an AxeTrak. AdrenalinnIII for the drums, Dano bass into the board (M-Audio ProjectMixIO) into Ableton Live 7 into a MacBook Pro.

Hey, it's a story song. You GOTTA have all the verses!

One thing that jumped out at me though that could be ADDED to the song is something to fill pauses between phrases toward the end of each verse.

Some sort of sound effect, guitar riff, bass riff, drum lick. Something different for each one to keep the listener drawn in and eliminate any monotony that could be experienced from someone who doesn't enjoy the story song thing as much as I do :-)

Thanks very much! I totally agree with you, but my playing was sinking without a trace for some reason when I tried to do the fills, so discretion being the better part of valor, I left them out and am letting the other soloists in the band have the space for themselves. Or at least, that's what I'm telling them.

When I get around to recording the song for the sake of making something polished out of it, there'll be more interesting stuff in the pause (I hope).
