Jeeze what parts ? the neck has no headstock, the frets look well used, it doesn't have the pots, caps, pups or tail piece it doesn't even have all the dots on the fingerboard. You might be able to get the fingerboard off it at much effort expense.

It looks like a funky mandolin shaped axe. It would be cool to make a sculpture out of the mahogany. How many people can say they have a piece of mahogany from a '59 les paul?

People sure did some crazy things to their guitars back when they were new and not worth much.

He probably saw Brian Jones on TV with his teardrop Vox and said, "Groovy! I wanna guitar that looks like that!"
