Hiwatt/Fender style amp ?

Have any amp builders experimented with using some Hiwatt ideas such as the Phase Inverter circuit with a Fender or Vox style amp. Just curious if anyone has melded these different circuits into something new and unique. Thanks

We have a few designs that mix design ideas together.

Lately I have been into using Cathodyne phase inverters like HiWatt's and getting cool results. I like the "bark" you can get from those, with the right pre and power sections it can sound really cool
