Mojo Gurus sign with True North Records

The Mojo Gurus have signed a multi-album record deal with True North Records www.truenorthrecords.com. The Toronto, Canada based label is distributed by Universal Records in Canada and by Koch Records in the US. The label will release the new Gurus CD "Let's Get Lit With. The Mojo Gurus" early next year. They will also be re-releasing the bands catalogue of CD's later in the year. A tour to support the CD will kick off in March and bring the band through the South (FL, GA, AL. MS, LA and TX) with a stop at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX on March 18 and then swinging through the Midwest (OK, MO, IN and MI), more dates in Canada with The John Henrys www.thejohnhenrys.com and then down the East Coast (NY, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA). The band will be throwing a signing/Christmas party on December 19 at the Ringside in St. Petersburg, FL to celebrate their new deal. The band will also be doing some pre-tour dates in Georgia this January with WARM Electronic Recordings artist Don Chambers.

You are correct sir IIRC, they were dormant at the time Kevin started the Mojo Gurus, and since they weren't that big in the states he may not have known of them.
