Need soldering advice for LP.

My first soldering! Two SD 59s in my old LP Dlx clone.

First I wired the wires wrong: black wire to the ground spot on top of the pot and green wire to the hot spot thingy. Then I wired them right, but now the neck pup is almost dead, very little sound. Bridge is fine. Re-soldered the neck best I could, same result. I know the pups was fine before. Could I have damaged it somehow?

Damn! That sucks. Don't think I can make a better soldering than this one. You're saying I could just replace the pot?

Yep; just get in there and mess around. You'll be alright.
