New Amp Day!!! Fender Prosonic Conversion

I converted my Prosonic head into a 2x10 combo with a cab ordered from Mather Amp Cabs, paired up with 2 Made in England Celestion G10 Vintages.....
It sounds better than I had ever anticipated!

I'm still debating putting the "Fender" logo on.....

Muchas gracias! I believe it's one of the first one's made, tagged inside with a sticker of 1997. Part of the reason why I converted it , cause it was in perfect shape, new tubes, sounds great, didnt want to dump it to find a beat prosonic combo....
( I suppose it's a Transformer now)

This might sound crazy, but I always liked the seafoam green Prosonics.

Does Mather build custom cabs ?

I've been thinking about having my '62 Bassman put into a 2x10 cab .

Yeah, and it seems he knows his stuff on all Vintage and Current Fender Amplifiers. Seafoam green...I dont know if he has it, but would certainly get it for you.

Thanks !

Oh - I wouldn't do SeaFoam on the Bassman ..
Probably rough blonde or maybe brown .

No, I liked the green on the Prosonics .
Anyway, yours came out looking really good; I need to shoot Peter
an email .

F-me. they are amazing outa the box. But, the prosonic sounds good outa most speakers with a tad of eq'ing,,,minus Crate stockers! There are still a bunch of England made 10's around since the popular choice is a 12".....(BTW, speaker choice was VERY difficult, but on a budget I found these 40 bucks cheaper than MF!!.......))))

What did you do with the head cabinet? Would you sell it? I'm in the opposite position of having the 2x10 prosonic and thinking about converting it to a head.

Sorry Not for sale...
Matherampcabs along with others like JDnewell make them and they look factory. (The prosonic is dimensionally identical to the Bandmaster head/combo)
