Matchless GPR preamps, how close do they really get to that "Matchless" sound??

Hey,
So I am looking in to picking up one rack preamp. I am considering a couple here on the board.

Does anybody have any direct experience with them?

Thanks

The GRP is by far my favorite preamp and have owned probably everyone you can think of. The only 2 I still have are the GRP and the Fish. I think the only reason the GRP is still available on the board is because folks don't really get it. If sum the channels on it it becomes a fire breather with more gain than any fish I have ever played.
